What’s Going To Happen
Tulsa has been great when it gets to play someone its own size.
It beat San Jose State on the road, and took its lumps against Michigan State and Oklahoma State. Even so, the offense doesn’t make a whole lot of mistakes so far, and the offense has just enough downfield pop to bother the Wyoming secondary.
But can the Cowboys hold on against the run? Wyoming can’t do anything through the air, but the offensive line is great at keeping defenses out of the backfield, it doesn’t turn the ball over, and the ground game is great at coming up with big dashes at the right time.
There’s no scoring pop, though. The UW defense will be able to handle the Tulsa offense from consistently moving the ball, but the offense won’t be able to put the game away. The Golden Hurricane passing game will go on one great late drive to pull the out at home.
