Wycombe Wanderers chairman Rob Couhig is confident that the Chairboys are capable of performing at the highest level ahead of their game against Tottenham.
The Championship side host Jose Mourinho's men at Adams Park this evening in the FA Cup fourth round, with Wycombe looking to try and spring an upset to seal a place in the last 16 of the competition.
The two sides last met at the same stage of the cup in 2017, with Wycombe threatening to pull off an unlikely victory at White Hart Lane as they led 2-0 and 3-2 against Spurs.
Spurs came from behind to claim the victory though, ending the then League Two side giving Mauricio Pochettino's men an almighty fright.
Now, four years on, the two sides meet again in the fourth round of the competition, with Wycombe a Championship side and Jose Mourinho now in charge at Spurs.
And the Wycombe chairman has warned Tottenham that Gareth Ainsworth's Chairboys are a different proposition now.
"This is a new time for Wycombe," he said in a message on the Championship club's website.
"While the odds may be against the team as it squares off against a high quality, extraordinarily well coached Premier League team, it’s no longer little Wycombe taking on the giant.
"As the club has shown with its improving performances in the Championship, ours is one capable of performing at the highest level.
"Gareth Ainsworth and his staff have put together the most talented and deepest squad in the club’s history. I have every confidence that the boys will play well and compete in every minute of the match.
