There are very few positives to have come out of the pandemic, but for UK WWE fans who basically were having to go nocturnal to watch the ever-lengthening pay-per-view events, the company splitting Wrestlemania across two nights for the third year in a row has to count as somewhat of a win. Gone are the six hours plus of pre-show and main card where, even if every match was a barnstormer, by the end you're just fatigued with the entire thing.
Instead, this year's Wrestlemania, the highlight of the WWE's calendar and all-round jewel-in-the-crown will be running across two nights, with live events this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. Whether you stay up to watch one or both nights live, or enjoy them with a bacon sandwich in the morning instead, here's what we know you can expect from Wrestlemania 38 so far.
What is the final full card for WWE Wrestlemania 38?
Confirmed for night one so far, we have Charlotte Flair defending the Smackdown Women's Championship against Ronda Rousey. Off the back of Rousey's not-so-surprise return from maternity leave at Royal Rumble where she entered at number 28 and cleaned house, this should be a solid match and a good bet for an early title change.
For the red brand, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will be fighting for the Raw Women's Championship. With the outcry after The Man returned to WWE last summer and defeated the on-form Belair in a 26-second drubbing, all we can hope is that both women get a chance to really put on a show on the greatest stage of them all.
Stone Cold Steve Austin is also set to appear on the card alongside Kevin Owens, although no-one's entirely sure what form this will take. You can imagine Austin will be a big draw and a massive pop for the home fans.
Elsewhere, other confirmed matches include tag team action with The Usos versus Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs for the Smackdown tag titles and Drew McIntyre versus Happy Corbin.
Our pick for night one highlight might be a bit contentious to some. Logan Paul has spent the last year encouraging people to pay to see him get hit across a range of different fighting disciplines. Just in case he doesn't come across obnoxious enough, he's teamed with The Miz, who after last year's bout with Bad Bunny (which arguably was one of the stand-out moments of both nights) has clearly got a reputation as a safe pair of hands to put the celebrities with. The heel pair are facing Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
At first glance, night two of Wrestlemania 38 has - barring the women's showing - the higher profile matches. The main event will be Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns in a Winner Takes All match to unify the WWE and Universal Championships.
Jackass' Johnny Knoxville finally gets his shot against Sami Zayn in an anything goes match. With Knoxville talking a good game on social media about his preparation for this, he and Zayn could surprise the crowd.
The early bet for match of the night for night too has to be Edge versus AJ Styles. Elsewhere on the card we have a fatal four way women's tag match with Queen Zelina and Carmella defending against Sasha Banks and Naomi, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan and Natalya and Shayna Baszler. Pat McAfee takes on Austin Theory, and the Raw tag titles are up for grabs as The Street Profits challenge RK-Bro.
How to watch WWE Wrestlemania 38 in the UK
Wrestlemania 38 is being live streamed on two consecutive nights, Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 3 from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The live shows will be available as WWE pay-per-views on BT Sport Box Office.
BT Sport Box Office is available on BT TV channel 495, or Sky channel 494. Virgin Media subscribers can access BT Sport Box Office by heading to the On Demand section on their TV box and selecting 'Live Events'.
The show is also available on the WWE Network for subscribers. A pre-show is set to start two hours before, at 11pm on the WWE Network, before the live stream starts everywhere at 1am.
