Tributes have been paid to a winner of a wrestling reality show who has died aged 30.
Sara Lee won the 2015 series of Tough Enough, a programme which aims to find new talent to join the WWE wrestling company.
Her mother, Terri Lee, announced her death in an emotional statement posted online.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our Sarah Weston has gone to be with Jesus," she said. “We are all in shock."
Lee, originally from Michigan, won a one-year, $250,000 (£226,000) WWE contract after her success in the competition’s sixth season.
In a statement, WWE said it was “saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee”.
“Born and raised in Hope Township, Michigan, Lee excelled in powerlifting before eventually joining the sixth season of WWE’s ‘Tough Enough,’” it said.
“Lee went on to win the fan vote for Tough Enough and serve as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans.”
The wrestling star was married to fellow former WWE star Westin Blake, real name Cory Weston, and had three children with him.
Among those paying tribute to Lee was wrestler Nikki A.S.H, who said: “You were so good in so many ways.
“You loved your family and friends so much. you were so giving, warm and selfless. You made me giggle.
“No matter how long we went without seeing each other, we would always pick up right where we left. I love you Sara.”
WWE star Kayla Braxton shared a link to the GoFundMe set up for Sara Lee’s family, and said her death was “heartbreaking”.
“What a beautiful person we’ve lost," she said.
“And leaving behind 3 small children and a husband who always expressed how madly in love he was with her.
“I’m so so sorry. Just heartbreaking." The cause of the Tough Enough winner’s death has not been made public.
