The second night of the annual WWE Superstar Shake-up saw Monday Night Raw’s leading man make the jump to the blue brand, and SmackDown added a coveted championship title to the mix ahead of the show’s move to Fox this fall.
Vince McMahon teased before the show that he would announce the biggest acquisition in SmackDown history, and that signing turned out to be Elias, who had his musical performance interrupted by Reigns.
SmackDown also added Intercontinental champion Finn Balor, and NXT fan favorite Kairi Sane, who has teamed up with Asuka to form a new tag duo under the direction of Paige.
