WWE fan favorite Sasha Banks made a stunning return from her extended absence Monday night on Raw, and she began a new chapter in her career by turning heel and brutally assaulting an injured Natalya.
Banks, who had not been seen in WWE since WrestleMania 35 in April, interrupted Natalya while she was discussing her late father, Jim Neidhart. Natalyta lost to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam on Sunday night and suffered an arm injury in the submission match, but Banks came to the ring and comforted her old friend – until she blindsided Natalya in the center of the ring.
Banks pulled off a purple wig to reveal a new look, and proceeded to obliterate a helpless Natalya.
WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch eventually showed up to confront Banks – but was quickly taken down and hit with multiple chair shots.
Banks played the role of a heel in NXT excellently, and fans have been calling for her to turn for ages in WWE.
