WWE RAW to return to Glasgow this November

WWE have announced that they will be taping their main weekly episodic TV show, Monday Night RAW, in Glasgow later this year.

The global wrestling giants have confirmed that the show will come to Scotland on the Monday November 11th at the SSE Hydro.

It is news that will no doubt delight wrestling fans across the city after Glasgow was not included on the on-going European tour taking place this month.

AllSaints are looking for a Glaswegian to model their new range

Monday Night RAW was previously recorded at the Hydro in 2016. The show made waves on social media as many Twitter users accused the Glasgow crowd of ‘hijacking’ the show. This was due to the audience engaging in a prolonged ‘Hey Bayley’ chant towards WWE superstar Bayley in the style of the popular song Hey Baby.

That year saw WWE bring both its main weekly shows – RAW and Smackdown Live – to Glasgow. However, the November tour will see both shows held in different cities, with Smackdown being recorded in Manchester.

Glaswegian accent named the third sexiest in the UK

Superstars set to appear on the show include the likes of WWE Universal champion Seth Rollins and Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre, although the lineup is subject to change.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday 22 of May at 10am.
