New England Patriots fans who went to WWE Raw in Boston on Monday night were probably looking forward to getting their minds off Rob Gronkowski’s retirement for a bit and just sit back and enjoy some wrestling.
But it didn’t take long for Gronk’s name to come up, as Lio Rush took a shot at him while verbally taking down Finn Bálor.
And the fans didn’t like it one bit.
Rush said:
“You should have just quit while you were ahead. You really should have. Now you’re going to be forced to leave the game as a beaten, broken, hot piece of garbage like Rob Gronkowski.”
Too soon?
We don’t know what’s next for Gronk but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him pop up in the WWE.
Heck, I was half expecting to see him come running out after that shot by Lio Rush. But I guess we’re just gonna have to wait and see what’s next for Gronk.
