WWE may NOT have room for John Cena at Wrestlemania 35

The WWE are reportedly ready to cut arguably their biggest star from Wrestlemania 35.

John Cena had been expected to perform at the showcase of the immortals but it now appears he may not be in action after all.

Cena had been rumoured to be preparing for a match against either Kurt Angle or Samoa Joe, but Angle will now face Baron Corbin.

And Joe is apparently set to defend his United States Championship against Rey Mysterio instead of facing off against Cena.

There was also speculation Cena could face debutant Lars Sullivan, but Sullivan has subsequently suffered an anxiety attack which has delayed his potential debut.

And given the development and confirmation of other bouts on the card, Wrestling Observer say Cena may not be in action at all at the company's showcase event.

Cena is still expected to appear at Mania in some capacity, as is The Undertaker, despite the increasing likelihood of neither being involved in matches.

Including the pre-show, there could be as many as 17 bouts on the card.

Cena is a WWE legend having claimed the WWE title on no fewer than 13 occasions, as well as three world heavyweight championships.

He is also a two-time Royal Rumble winner and has enjoyed reigns as tag team champion and United States champion.
