WWE main roster superstar makes surprise NXT UK debut in Glasgow

A WWE superstar debuted and a number one contender was crowned as NXT UK concluded its stint in Scotland.

Following on from defeating Pete Dunne at Friday's TV taping, WWE UK Champion Walter addressed the crowd alongside his new allies Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner.

After declaring that they’d now be known as Imperium, they were faced with British Strong Style - Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven - at Glasgow's Braehead Arena.

A short brawl would ensue before NXT UK assistant general manager Sid Scala made a six-man tag team match between the two factions for later on in the tapings.

As the superstars waged war in a typically hard-hitting contest, a mysterious figure came down the ramp before facing off with Bate - WWE main roster star Alexander Wolfe.

The former Sanity member and SmackDown superstar would assist Walter in picking up the victory over Bate, solidifying his involvement in the Imperium stable.

The other big development from the evening came with the crowning of a new number one contender for the WWE UK title.

A Fatal 4-Way had been determined on Friday, with Joe Coffey, Jordan Devlin, Travis Banks and Dave Mastiff all qualifying for the contest.
