WWE legend John Cena reveals he suffered embarrassing sexual mishap during match

Wrestling legend John Cena didn't hold anything back while answering fans' questions during an American TV show- and even admitted to getting rather too excited in the ring on occasions.

The 43-year-old appeared on Watch What Happens Live , hosted by Andy Cohen, and allowed a Q&A session with audience members, giving a number of revealing answers in the process.

And when one fan got personal and asked Cena if he had ever got an erection during a fight, he was brutally honest in his answer, confirming that it may have happened on occasions.

"It’s something the body does, you just ignore it,” he said. “Just ignore it. It’s what the body does. You can’t be blamed for that.”

Cena was also asked if the rumours were true that he spends up to 30 minutes a day shaving his body hair.

And amazingly, he suggested that on occasions it could take even longer.

"There’s a lot of body," he said.

On a more serious note, the 16-time world champion contemplated his future, and said he finds it difficult to imagine a life without wrestling after a career which has spanned 20 years.

When asked about leaving the sport, he said: “That’s a tough question because I don’t think I’ll ever be disconnected from the WWE.

“I think whether it’s an on-camera role or an off-camera role, I don’t think the word ‘retire’ I’ll ever use that.

“So I know that time is limited because it’s a physical, performance-based thing, and I’m 42, so I know that window is kind of coming to a close, but I don’t think I’ll ever be retired.

"I would love to be able to pass on the knowledge and wisdom that I have about live performances to up-and-comers and hopefully help people out."
