Wrestling legend Chris Jericho has been forced to cancel his band Fozzy’s gig in Swansea after he was hospitalised in the United Kingdom.
Jericho, who is a former WWE world champion and is one of the iconic veterans of the circuit, currently competes for All Elite Wrestling although he was taking time off to tour Britain with his band.
Fozzy are currently undertaking a 12-date ‘Save The World’ tour of the UK and were meant to perform at Swansea Sin City in Wales on Friday.
However, the show appears to have been cancelled after a social media page reportedly belonging to the venue confirmed the 52-year-old had been taken to the hospital.

The page revealed it was not related to Covid.
“Chris was checked into hospital by doctors, with a non-Covid related, treatable health issue,” the page said in a statement, claiming the message was from the band.
“Regrettably the show on Friday in Swansea is cancelled and all tickets will be refunded. Will have updates on Saturday's show in Nottingham and Sunday’s show in London as soon as possible.”
There has been no official word on what Jericho’s health concern is from the WWE legend himself or AEW.

Lead vocalist Jericho and the band have played a number of shows in Newcastle and Bournemouth among others, and they were scheduled to finish their tour in London on Sunday after a Nottingham gig on Saturday.
Jericho has been active on social media, sharing pictures and tweets while the band enjoys their time on these shores. However, there has been no mention of his health.
Due to the tour, AEW's first-ever world champ Jericho has not appeared live on the company’s flagship Dynamite show since December 1.
He was attacked backstage by 2point0 and Daniel Garcia and injured as part of the storyline to write him off the show while he went on tour.
