WWE 2K25 is known for having weird bugs that get the community laughing every so often. But, recently, an even weirder bug surfaced on the internet related to John Cena’s hat.
Now, John Cena is known for wearing hats; it’s a core part of his WWE attire. WWE 2K25 features a lot of different and cool hats that Cena has worn over the years. However, one of these hats had a very interesting message on it.
John Cena’s motto has always been about not giving up, and that message is also present on the hats he wears.
A Reddit user by the name GinngerMints discovered this hat that had questionable text. He attached two images, one with the questionable text and the other with the text that should be on the hat.
The questionable text on the Cena hat read “Never Quit, Never Suck It”, while it should be “Never Quit, Never Back Down”. The post had fans wilding out in the comments.
Is It A Bug?
At first, even the post author thought it was a bug. WWE 2K25 does use AI, so this could be just AI hallucinating. Some fans stated that this was a throwback to Cena’s rivalry with DX. “Suck It” is DX’s popular phrase, so the hat having “Never Suck It” does make sense.

And, it turns out the text is intentional. The same post author later found out that both the hat versions are in the game’s creation suite. So, even fans are now confused whether it is a bug or an intended Easter egg.

Either way, it sure is funny, and it has gotten a lot of laughs out of the commenters. We will eventually find out if it’s a bug or an Easter egg, but until then, why not just enjoy this weird hat?
