'Pay your age' period pants for teens and tweens amid cost of living crisis

Period pants have become increasingly popular over recent years as families look to save money and help the environment.

Now one of the biggest brands WUKA has launched a 'pay your age' campaign making them even cheaper.

Its new Teen Stretch range features a narrower gusset, 'for a more snug and comfortable fit for younger growing bodies'.

And with the promotion, the seamless pants can be picked up from £8 a pair.

Lasting up to two years, WUKA Teen Stretch pants are reusable and adapt to growing bodies, expanding up to three sizes, meaning parents won't need to buy them as frequently.

It comes as recent figures shows as much as a third of UK women and girls currently experience period poverty as the price of conventional period care continues to rise.

Research by Plan UK has also revealed more than a third (34%) of girls that miss school due to periods worry about leaking.

The pants provide up to 12 hours of protection and are described as being 'perfect for school, sports, after-school activities and through the night'.

WUKA's offer means that tweens and teens can 'pay their age' for up to three pairs, so a 10-year-old will pay £10 a pair, instead of the usual £17.99. You can also buy a two pocket waterproof changing bag to easily store them in separate compartments.

They're available in ages eight to 16 and in three colours - blue, red and black.

Shoppers can also benefit from for free shipping. To find out more and order the product, visit the WUKA website.
