Wu Tang Clan rapper GZA heading to Edinburgh for Assembly Rooms gig

Hip-hop legend GZA is heading to Edinburgh for a gig at the Assembly Rooms venue this April.

Best known for being in the Wu Tang Clan, he's touring around the UK to mark the 25th anniversary of his solo album Liquid Swords.

The LP was first released in 1995 and has been hailed as a hip-hop classic.

GZA (aka Gary Grice) was one of the nine founding members of the Wu Tang Clan, alongside his cousin RZA. The Assembly Rooms gig follows a show at SWG3 in Glasgow last April.

Promoters say: "GZA - hip-hop legend, lyrical swordsman and founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan - returns to Scotland to celebrate 25 years of his groundbreaking album 'Liquid Swords' following a stunning sold out show in Glasgow last year."

The gig is at 7pm on Friday, April 3. You can buy tickets via Usher Hall's website here.
