Wu-Tang Clan jokingly recruits James Comey to recover album seized by feds

James Comey may help the Wu-Tang Clan get their C.R.E.A.M.

Members of the famed rap group met the ousted FBI director backstage at "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" Tuesday night and joked he could help them get their long-lost "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" album back.

"Workin on getting that album back from the feds," wrote Ghostface Killah, whose real name is Dennis Coles. He and Method Man posed with the "Higher Loyalty" author for an Instagram post.

It's unclear how Comey could possibly help the rappers get their record back since he is no longer an employed G-man and a foe of the Trump administration for publishing his tell-all book.

Trump famously fired Comey in May 2017, adding another layer of intrigue into the far-reaching Russian collusion probe.

The group's mysterious album was sold to convicted fraudster Martin Shkreli for $2 million in 2015. The feds seized the only existing copy of the record after Pharma Bro was sentenced to seven years in prison and forced to forfeit $7.3 million in assets.

Shkreli is being held at a federal jail in Brooklyn.

Colbert regrettably informed the rappers their album is in U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions' custody.

"First of all, that album belongs to the people," the rappers told the late night comic.
