Wu-Tang Clan fans offered refunds after members miss Australian ‘final’ shows

Refunds have been offered to fans disappointed when multiple members of the Wu-Tang Clan apparently failed to appear at the Australian leg of their tour.

The hip-hop collective have been playing what is billed as their full-lineup farewell run.

However, according to fans posting on social media following a performance at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Method Man, Raekwon, Cappadonna and Young Dirty Bastard were all absent.

This left the remaining six members – RZA, GZA, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck and U-God – to continue with the show.

When it was announced in October 2025, the Wu-Tang tour was billed as featuring “all members”, with the group and their promoters TEG Dainty and Untitled Group stating that the dates would mark their “final” appearances in Australia.

Billboard reports that in the build-up to the shows, Wu-Tang Clan posted an Instagram Story suggesting Method Man would not join them in Australia, but no announcement was made regarding the other missing members.

“We want to make fans aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, a couple of members will be unable to join the remaining tour dates in Melbourne and Sydney,” ticketing platform Ticketek said in a statement.

“Wu-Tang Clan will be performing and bringing everything that has made them one of the most iconic live acts in hip-hop history.”

Fans who no longer wished to attend were offered the option to claim a refund.

They last toured Australia in May 2023 with Nas on the NY State of Mind tour.

Announcing their farewell shows, RZA said in a statement: “Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called The Final Chamber. This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture.

“Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years. On this tour we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”
