WTO confirms Nigeria's Okonjo-Iweala as new boss

The World Trade Organization has confirmed Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as its first female – and first African – director-general. The former Nigerian finance minister faces the uphill battle of trying to reform the international body, saying it plays a "vital" role in helping the global economy recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
