Writesonic has launched its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Platform in India. It is said to help businesses secure visibility in AI-driven search results.
With platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity increasingly becoming the first stop for research, Writesonic says traditional web search optimization is no longer enough. Its new GEO platform is said to help enterprises, startups, and agencies understand what queries they appear in, track competitors’ AI visibility, and take action to improve their presence inside AI-generated answers.
“If you’re not part of the AI answer, you’re not part of the deal,” said Writesonic founder and CEO Samanyou Garg. He noted that nearly 9 in 10 B2B buyers already use AI platforms for research, often shortlisting vendors without ever visiting their websites. For Indian businesses, he said, this means the first, and sometimes only, impression is made inside an AI response.
The platform goes beyond dashboards, offering step-by-step recommendations. This includes refreshing outdated content, creating product comparisons or listicles, and ensuring brands are mentioned on high-authority sites like Wikipedia, Reddit, and industry media, sources that AI systems heavily reference. Technical fixes, such as repairing broken links or optimizing JavaScript-heavy pages, are also part of the strategy.
According to the company, early adopters of its GEO methodology have seen measurable gains. Leads from AI discovery rose from 2.5% to 11% in weeks, and some companies improved their visibility in AI answers from zero to 4% in under 20 days. AI-driven visitors, the company added, convert at rates three to eight times higher than traditional website traffic.
