Write your own short story – in under three sentences

The Man Booker International prize this year has gone to a woman famous for her short stories – and when we say short, we do mean short. Some of Lydia Davis's tales are just a paragraph. The chair of the prize, Christopher Ricks, wondered what to call such brief works, but Davis says she would like them to remain known as stories. In honour of the £60,000 award, we'd like you to come up with some of your own concise stories. Can you construct a beginning, middle and an end in under three sentences?
