WriteToThem.com is much more comprehensive than its predecessor, allowing you to fax your councillors, members of the European and Scottish parliaments, and members of the London, Welsh and Northern Ireland assemblies by simply entering in your postcode and filling out an online form.
Don't worry if you don't get a reply. The site will hold your representatives to account by publishing league tables of representatives according to how often they get back to constituents' faxes within 14 days.
The league table on FaxYourMP.com makes interesting reading. Tory MPs come out top: a triumph for their traditional blue-rinse parliamentary secretaries. While the Liberal Democrats score worst out of the major parties, replying to only 55.25% of the faxes they received last year. So much for community politics.
