Elizabeth Fraser, singer in much-loved 4AD band Cocteau Twins, this week announced she is to play two dates at the Royal Festival Hall as part of this year's Antony Hegarty-curated Meltdown festival – her first live appearances since a 2006 tour with Massive Attack.

To celebrate the news, for this week's readers' panel we'd like to hear your thoughts on Cocteau Twins. Your favourite song, favourite album, your recollections of seeing them live, your thoughts on their legacy – whatever your views on the band, we'd like to hear them.

If you'd like to participate, please email adam.boult@guardian.co.uk before 10pm on Thursday 3 May with up to 200 words about Cocteau Twins. When you email, please include your Guardian username and your real name (and let us know if you object to having your real name used). We'll pick five entries for publication. The subject line of your email should be "Cocteau Twins".

Alternatively, you can review any of the band's albums via the Guardian's dedicated album pages. If you'd like to write a review, or see what others have written about Cocteau Twins, visit the pages via the following links.
