Blur have never been afraid of reinventing themselves. From the shoegaze influences of 1991 debut Leisure, to 2003's Think Tank, which drew on styles including jazz, hip-hop and north African music, Albarn, James, Rowntree and (more often than not) Coxon have created a rich body of work, with seven studio albums that each have a unique character.
But which Blur album is the best? Did Modern Life Is Rubbish deserve wider recognition? Is Parklife their masterwork? Do you agree with Miranda Swayer, who described 13 as an "abstruse, romantic, bloody-minded joy"? Or is The Great Escape anybody's favourite?
To kick off the debate, we'd like you to make the case for your favourite Blur album. You can write a review of the album of your choice via the links below. We'll be picking a reader-penned review of each of the albums to publish here on Friday.
