Wriggle launches new way to get food and drink delivered from Bristol businesses

Wriggle has launched a new online marketplace showcasing some of the tastiest food and drink Bristol's independent businesses have to offer.

The Bristol Pantry features bakers, butchers, brewers, greengrocers, coffee roasters and more, with new businesses signing up every day.

If customers order on the website before 4pm on Wednesday they are entitled to free delivery on Friday, providing they spend a minimum of £10.

Wriggle Founder Rob Hall said: "We have been in awe of the Bristol food and drinks scene since lockdown.

Find out where's delivering near you:

"There has been so much support from within the industry and customers are putting their money where their mouths are, supporting their favourite local producers and businesses.

"With The Bristol Pantry we want to make this process easier and establish relationships between producers and consumers that can flourish beyond lockdown and social distancing."

Popular businesses selling their goods on the Bristol Pantry so far include Bristol Beer Factory, Moor Beer, Eatchu, Popti & Beast and more.

Orders go straight to producers, which means the prices are the "best available" said a spokesperson for Wriggle, which also operates in Bath, Brighton, Cardiff and Birmingham.

Wriggle said it is also working with its partners to create "exciting products and bundles that you won’t get anywhere else".
