Wrexham multi-storey car park and retail parade set for auction

A multi-storey car park and retail parade in the centre of Wrexham is set to go to auction.

The 311 space St Mark's Road car park will come under the hammer at an Allsop auction for offers over £1m.

The five floor site is currently let to Parking Eye for nearly £140,000 a year and is the main car park for the town centre from the west.

St Mark’s Car Park had previously closed in 2015 after the previous owners, NCP, confirmed it would not be renewing its lease.

It was then taken over by Britannia Parking in May 2016.

A retail parade next to the car park has also gone up for sale at the same commercial auction on September 22.

Tenants on that small Regent Street parade include Deichman Shoes and British Heart Foundation. It generates rents of £113,000 a year.

That site has a guide price of offers over £600,000.

Next to both sites is a large unit occupied by Bargain Buys which is also coming to the same auction with a guide price of offers over £500,000. It has an annual rent of £80,000.

The auction will be held online.
