WrestleMania fans stranded at MetLife Stadium due to transportation nightmare

Wrestlemania 35 is over, and though there was so much to talk about after an action-packed event that lasted over six hours — from the ending to Brock Lesnar’s loss to Kofi Kingston’s title — social media was filled with wrestling fans who took forever to get home.

Per New Jersey Transit, trains would come every 10 minutes after the event at MetLife Stadium ended, “and then every 15 to 20 minutes as needed.” But according to die-hards standing in the rain, they were stranded for a while until trains finally came. Uber and Lyfts — if they were available at all — were extremely expensive. There were a lot of Fyre Festival jokes made:
