A UK kitchen retailer has opened a new transport depot in Avonmouth, near Bristol, creating 30 jobs.
Wren Kitchens said it had expanded its logistical operations in the South West to cater for increased customer demand.
The company now has seven transport hubs across the country and a fleet of 140 lorries, which deliver 2,000 kitchens around the UK each week.
The new three-acre Avonmouth site has created local jobs such as drivers, porters, supervisors and office staff, according to the company.
It said more than 50, 7.5-tonne and eight-tonne Wren lorries would be based at the depot and would travel around the West of England.
According to Wren, having a depot in the region will reduces road miles and cut the company's carbon emissions; it's nearest other depot is more than 100 miles away, it said.

“Positioned at Avonmouth means we are centrally located in the South West, as we continue to enhance our logistical presence across the length and breadth of the county.
“We are also proactively positioning ourselves for the future as we aim to support the capacity of electric lorries and ultra-low emission zones.”
The Avonmouth depot has been developed for Wren, according to the retailer, and includes a lorry washing station, offices and a Quartz worktop storage facility.
