Wren brings Kitchen of the Year title to The Nest as home office adds contemporary twist

Wren Kitchens has had a luxury design crowned Kitchen of the Year by Ideal Home magazine.

The pan-Humber manufacturing and retail giant wowed judges with materials, craftsmanship and lay-out of the Infinity Plus Shaker.

Described as expertly designed for modern living, it featured a multi-material island with dedicated seating, colour matched cabinetry and a home office integrated seamlessly within the space - underlining the contemporary approach.

Wren’s showroom development and design director, Darren Watts, said: “We are very proud of our British manufacturing, expert design and product innovation.

“All of our kitchens are designed, developed and made in the UK to the highest standards. We are committed to UK manufacturing and great British design which means we can create affordable luxury kitchens.”

The £600 million turnover company is currently expanding operations at The Nest in Barton, while also opening in the US.

It has just passed the 100-store mark in the UK, from a standing start a decade ago as ex-Hygena boss Malcolm Healey turned back to the sector.

Attention to detail and on-trend use of colour swayed the panel, with jade and soft cotton shaker units and white Venice Xena Quartz worktops. Even that is manufactured in-house.
