We previously shared an update on Three Fields Entertainment’s current situation with the independent studio turning to Patreon for community support as it works to secure its future with Wreckreation.
Despite the uncertainty, development on the game continues. Recent changes include updates to Maccoll County around Black Creek and Storey, where a mountain has been cleared to make room for early work on a new town area. The team has also shared an early look at snappable Live Mixable Buildings, alongside nine new Live Mix collectibles that unlock 32 additional Live Mix objects. These include 22 building variants, plus scaffolding, cranes and other construction materials.
Console players on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 now have access to new video settings with options to choose between Quality and Performance modes. Quality mode runs at 30 frames per second, targets a consistent 4K resolution, reduces screen tearing and adds visual upgrades like improved grass detail. Player Created Challenges have also been expanded with the introduction of Share Codes for easy cross platform sharing, along with a new rating option.
To help surface community content, the game now highlights the most played and highest rated challenges with an additional community challenge filter available on the map. Parking lots have been adjusted to show recently unlocked and most driven spaces and the Base and Wreckoning versions of cars now share the same parking spots. Players can toggle between them, making it easier to track upgrades at a glance.
