THQ Nordic has outlined what’s ahead for Wreckreation, including upcoming patches, content updates and features in development.
The studio recently released patch #2 on PC with console updates on the way. The patch addresses several gameplay issues, including cars flipping when cornering, camera pitch problems and tweaks to Road Rage events to make AI easier to catch.
Starting the week of November 10, PC players can expect Patch #3, with console versions following shortly after. This update focuses on refining physics, reactions and handling across vehicles. It will also improve car responsiveness, reduce the chances of spinning out or flipping offroad and makes crash rules more consistent. Other fixes include corrected stat tracking for trophies and achievements, clearer collectible icons and various world and stability improvements based on community feedback.
An additional content pack is scheduled for late November introducing four new cars. The Huntsville Nebraska, Mitani Suprema, Freiberg AMG W Class and Delon Mulsanne, each with new events that unlock upgraded versions, bringing the total to eight new vehicles. The update will also add new Live Mix objects that expand the track-building options, PlayStation 5 Pro support for native 4K at 60fps and DualSense features like color feedback during gameplay.
The team continues to work on larger additions, including crossplay, new gameplay modes, live mixable buildings, more vehicles and a system for promoting user-generated events, but official dates haven’t been revealed.
