The aftermath of a burnt out lorry has been left on a quiet residential street in Edinburgh, surrounded by a pile of rubble.
The unusual sight left the white truck completely destroyed as one passer-by noticed nothing but a shell of the lorry remaining while out on a walk. It is currently unclear how it caught fire.
The eyewitness came across the wreckage on Granton Crescent on Friday afternoon, February 10, but it is understood that the vehicle did not catch fire that day.

Images show what appears to be a delivery truck burnt from the top downwards with piles of rubble surrounding it on the pavement and debris in the back.
The passer-by was left bewildered at what they had seen, adding: "I was just out a walk with my partner and we noticed the lorry when we turned onto Granton Crescent.
"There was nobody around it and the fire service weren't present, but it was completely wrecked and nothing but a shell of the lorry remained. There was also bits of rubble just lying on the opposite pavement. I reckon it must have happened a few days ago."
It is currently unclear when the fire occurred and if there were any injuries as a result. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were unable to locate any callouts in the area.
