'Wreak havoc' - Nottingham Forest fans hail return of midfield general

Samba Sow's return to the Nottingham Forest starting XI had fans somewhat jubilant on Saturday afternoon.

The powerful midfielder has been missing since picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw with Brentford in October, and his loss has been felt by the Reds.

Boss Sabri Lamouchi restored the Malian to the side for Saturday's Championship visit to struggling Huddersfield Town, at the expense of Ryan Yates, who dropped to the bench.

Sow's unorthodox style had proved effective in the middle of the park following his summer arrival, and fans were pleased to see him make a return.

His start was one of four changes made by Lamouchi after last Saturday's horror show against Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground.

The Reds were torn apart, losing 4-0 to drop out of the play-off places and Lamouchi opted to bring back Joe Lolley against his former club, while also handing starts to defensive duo Tobias Figueiredo and Chema Rodriguez in place of Jack Robinson and Michael Dawson.
