WR Will Fuller returns in Texans’ opening training camp practice

Training camp has finally kicked off down in Houston, and there’s good news for the Texans and quarterback Deshaun Watson. Fourth-year wide receiver Will Fuller has returned to practice.

After his 2018 season was cut short in Week 8 with an ACL injury, he was limited throughout minicamp. However, on Thursday he was running routes and training as normal and looked in good shape as they kicked off this year’s camp.

Fuller brings much-needed speed to this receiver corps, and when on the field he acts as a perfect number two receiver to DeAndre Hopkins, stretching the field, creating space for All-Pro Hopkins, and giving Pro-Bowler Watson a deep threat.

The former first-round pick out of Notre Dame has scored 11 touchdowns over the last two seasons, having played in just 17 games due to various injuries. During these years, he has proven to be an extremely dangerous player, catching 60 passes for 926 yards.
