WR Terrelle Pryor once again eyes a return to the NFL with the Steelers

Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was born and raised in Jeanette Pennsylvania. He went off to Ohio State to play college football but has always considered the Pittsburgh area his home. So every year when he is looking for a team he never hesitates to bring the Pittsburgh Steelers up as a potential landing spot.

Pryor didn’t play at all last season but told TMZ he’s talked to five teams about a contract for this season. And with that, he once again put it out there that he’d love to get his career back on track with his hometown Steelers.

Pryor was a hugely successful quarterback in college football but eventually transitioned to wide receiver. Pryor has 115 career receptions and is 31 years old with seven seasons in the NFL.

In terms of notoriety, Pryor holds one NFL record and he set it against the Steelers. Back in 2013, Pryor was the starting quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders and he got the Raiders off to a hot start against Pittsburgh when he rushed for a 93-yard touchdown.
