The Arizona Cardinals have announced their inactives for their Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions. The most notable player on the list is receiver Michael Crabtree, who was signed late in the preseason and has not yet had enough time to get acclimated to the offense.
This is the full list of the seven inactives:
- WR Michael Crabtree
- OL Lamont Gaillard
- DL Miles Brown
- OL Marcus Gilbert
- OL Brett Toth
- TE Darrell Daniels
- DL Michael Dogbe
Gaillard and Gilbert are out because of knee injuries. IT is still not known who will start at right tackle for Gilbert. The Cardinals did not announce any lineup changes when they announced their inactive list.
With Toth also inactive, the Cardinals are dressing only seven offensive linemen.
By making Brown and Dogbe both inactive, they are dressing only five defensive linemen.
Trent Sherfield and KeeSean Johnson will get the playing time in place of Crabtree.
