WR Keke Coutee: Texans’ offensive confidence is through the roof

Seventy-eight.

In the last two weeks, the Houston Texans offense has scored 78 points on the likes of the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back wins.

If one were to presume the offense’s confidence is high heading into their Week 7 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, they were right. Confidence is at an all-time high days before their divisional tilt.

“Confidence is through the roof right now,” said wide receiver Keke Coutee on Friday. “These last couple of games have been a glimpse of how far we can go. We still not satisfied, at all, so we still continue to get better.”

The Texans offense has reasons for confidence. They boast the NFL’s best red-zone offense (71.43% touchdown rate), have an MVP candidate in quarterback Deshaun Watson, boast one of the NFL’s deepest and fastest wide receiver corps, are running the ball with ease and have the offensive line to support them.

Sunday will tell if their confidence is warranted, as the Colts speedy, active defense is their most onerous task since their 16-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 4.
