Wow! MP quoted 'out of context'

How unusual? An MP attacking a newspaper! Parmjit Dhanda, the Labour member for Gloucester who is embroiled in a dispute with campaigners trying to save a hospital children's ward after allegedly calling them snobs, has now turned his fire on a newspaper. He accused the Gloucestershire Echo of quoting him "out of context" and being "more intent on chasing circulation" than informing its readers. The paper carried his letter of complaint uncut.
