The budget carrier has cancelled all flights with immediate effect so if you had a flight booked, this no longer exists.
It's an incredibly stressful situation, but the silver lining is that you won't necessarily be left out of pocket, nor does it mean your entire trip has to be cancelled.
It will all depend on the manner in which you booked your flight.
For more information, WOW Air has also shared a guide of the first steps passengers should take if they have booked a flight.
If you booked a flight only, then you may need to start looking for alternative flights to your destination. However if you've booked a package holiday that's ATOL protected, then it's the firm's responsibility to either find you alternative flights to get you home, or provide a full refund.

Get in touch with your credit card provider and make a claim for costs not received. If successful, you should be able to get your money back.
Paid by debit card
The rules aren't as set in stone on a debit card payment, but you should get in touch with your debit card provider as soon as possible as in some cases there is protection on your purchases and you may be able to make a claim.

If you booked with a travel agent or tour operator
There's good news if you've booked a package holiday that's ATOL protected, as it's up to the travel firm to sort your flights back home. They must either make alternative flights available to you so that you can continue your holiday, or offer a full refund.
If you are abroad, the firm is responsible for bringing you home at the end of your trip.
You'll have been given an ATOL certificate when you booked your holiday so have this to hand when you get in touch.

Check your travel insurance
Check your travel insurance policy to see if you're covered for "airline failure". It's worth noting that insurers rarely cover this but double check as you never know - and you could end up getting some of your money back if you are covered.
