'Wouldn't change a thing' - Leeds United fans' emotional response to new Take Us Home series

Leeds United's journey back to the Premier League after 16 years was certainly dramatic, even by the lofty standards of the club.

The Whites, having painfully seen a promotion bid collapse the year before with a play-off defeat to Derby, had to overcome some pretty significant circumstances.

Among them was the unprecedented nature of the coronavirus crisis which has created havoc across the globe, including to the professional sports scene.

When the league was postponed back in March, it was followed by a wealth of uncertainty on if the campaign would be concluded and what would happen to everything that had gone on so far.

In the end, the action did return but at a cost - as Leeds fans were unable to follow their beloved side home and away as they achieved what they have pushed to do for the last decade and a half.

Fortunately, the cameras were there to follow it all as Amazon's filming for the second series of Take Us Home went on - and it's fair to say fans have loved what they have seen.

The first series told the highs and lows of Marcelo Bielsa's first season of the club, documented by Hollywood star and Leeds fans Russell Crowe.

That included standout moments like the infamous collapse of Daniel James' proposed move to Elland Road and the Spygate saga.

While the second series was just two episodes, it certainly caught everything that fans wanted and is being praised for it's brilliance.
