Would you try Buckfast korma from Hamilton curry kings House of Shah?

A Hamilton curry shop are urging customers to try their Buckfast korma.

But the House of Shah’s recent Facebook post has received a mixed reaction online.

The award-winning takeaway in the town’s Quarry Street says the Buckie dish is mild, creamy, sweet, nutty and of course has the tonic wine included.

Taking to Facebook they asked their customers if they had tried their dish.

And Cheryl Banny replied: “Might make this myself.. Drink the Bucky first then forget about the korma.”

Karen MacLean said: “Love korma but boak to this. Nae chance.”

The takeaway hit the headlines last week when they posted about a “hilarious” Just Eat request from a punter.

The cheeky customer wrote on his order to the shop: “My wife thinks I’m “working out” in the garage please don’t chap door. Call me on arrival and come to the garage, I will be on the “treadmill”. Also, no salad at all on my kebab. Thanks.”

Jahan Shah, who runs the shop, told the Advertiser it’s their best Just Eat comment yet.
