Would you marry a stranger? How to apply for Married At First Sight UK

Hit dating show Married At First Sight UK is set to return to our screens and looking for new contestants.

County Durham party girl Nikita Jasmine caused a stir when she appeared on the series this summer.

And now brave singles are being urged to apply to follow in the North East model's footsteps.

Married At First Sight sees singles marry a complete stranger who has been chosen as a love match for them by relationship experts.

They have absolutely no say in the matter and meet their other half for the first time at their wedding.

Channel 4 is now looking for a fresh batch of hopeless-in-love singletons to sign up to be "scientifically" paired with their perfect match by a panel of romance experts.

Successful applicants will meet their "true love" just minutes before they marry them.

The pair will then live together for a period of time, during which they meet at commitment ceremonies and decide whether or not they wish to continue their relationship.

Nikita, 27, was at the centre of the drama during her brief time on the series, after first swearing at the altar and then throwing a drink off new husband Ant during their honeymoon in Mexico.

It was reported that she was thrown off the show for her behaviour, but the model later took to Instagram to deny being booted-off.

To apply for the upcoming series email marriedatfirstsight@cplproductions.co.uk with your name, age, and contact number.
