Would the Steelers work a trade for Jadeveon Clowney?

There’s a rumor going around that the Houston Texans are in the market for a starting offensive tackle and they are willing to work a trade involving edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney. His career got off to a slow start but the last two seasons, Clowney has been one of the best pass rushers in the league.

The Steelers have some solid offensive tackles, but do they need Clowney? A case could be made the addition of Clowney would instantly improve the Steelers defense at all three levels. He had 9.0 and 9.5 sacks over the last two seasons and at only 26 years old, he still has a ton of good football ahead of him.

Pittsburgh currently has two starting-caliber tackles battling for one spot. Mett Feiler and Chuks Okorafor both have a bright future in the league but with players like Derwin Gray and B.J. Finney as depth, either guy could be packaged.

But is losing Feiler or Okorafor in exchange for Clowney and likely a high draft pick worth the risk? I personally wouldn’t make the deal despite Cloweny’s potential.
