Would cornerback Bradley Roby be a solid signing for the Texans?

Cornerback is a position of need as well for the Houston Texans with Johnathan Joseph and Aaron Colvin the only starters left on the roster.

It makes sense for general Brain Gaine to at the very least take a look at free agent Bradley Roby from the Denver Broncos. The Texans have the occasion to do so as the legal tampering period began on March 11 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time.

Roby is only 26 years old would be a great addition to Texans cornerback group that lacks depth as much as it lacks youth. With 238 solo tackles and 213 combined tackles in his five year career would be a solid addition for Houston

One definite plus on the former 2014 first-round pick out of Ohio State is that Robey has played in all 16 games except for last season. Even so, he only missed one game. Durability wouldn’t be an issue.

What the Texans decide to do in free agency at the cornerback position will dictate what they will do in the NFL draft when it comes to addressing the offensive line. General manager Brian Gaine has to smartly navigate the free agent cornerback waters and see if there is anyone worth the salary cap space.
