Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to transfer rumours linking Billy Sharp with a return to the club.
The Daily Star to the Reds, with Scottish Premiership side Celtic also believed to be keen.
Sharp, who fired in 23 goals for Chris Wilder's promoted Blades last season, has lost his place in the starting XI at Bramall Lane slipping behind summer recruits Callum Robinson, Oliver McBurnie and Lys Mousset at the Premier League side.
Forest to beef up his promotion-chasing side for the second half of the season and Sharp could fit the bill.
An experienced head, he topped the goalscoring charts at the City Ground with 11 strikes in a previous loan spell eight years ago.
Reds fans have been giving their reaction to the news and here's the pick of it...
@ Fxlch1 : 1000000%
@ NFFCJRM : Thoughts on Bill Sharp simple. Chris Wilder has already publicly said the player won’t be going anywhere and furthermore doesn’t want to go anywhere. If, (and it’s a big if) he did, he wouldn’t be coming to play second fiddle and we only play one up front
@tobytales: Should of signed him permanently under O’driscoll
@ cornwall_view : Sigh!
@ TJ_NFFC : Am I the only one who would prefer Jukewitz over Sharp and Murray ( not over Gayle tho )
@ kirkyboy79 : Id have Billy sharp back 110%
@ fox_alfie : Billy Sharp obviously wouldn’t be a long term solution, but he scored 23 in 40 in the championship last season, would have to be mad to not think he’s worth taking as a back up to grabban for 6 months
@ jshanghai2002 : Think Billy Sharp would be a good fit can't quite understand why others not so excited & would rather have some young lad from Arsenal that might be ok
