'Would be a stunning move, no thanks!' - Arsenal fans split over Koscielny & Umtiti reports

Laurent Koscielny's time at Arsenal could be coming to an end if reports from France are believed to be true.

According to L'Equipe (via Sport Witness ), the defender could end his long association with the Gunners following next Wednesday's Europa League final against Chelsea.

Signed from French side Lorient in 2010, the 33-year-old's current contract in north London expires at the end of the 2019/20 season and there has been plenty of talk that he will return to his home country once his deal runs out.

However, a move away from Arsenal could come 12 months sooner than expected with a host of clubs keen on the experienced defender.

Bayer Leverkusen are believed to be leading the chase at present, while Rennes and AC Milan are believed to have contacted Koscielny regarding a move.

The report suggests that Unai Emery's side are currently stalling over a new contract for the defender as they are keen on a deal for Barcelona's Samuel Umtiti this summer.

The World Cup winner, who L'Equipe state would cost €60m, has only featured in 15 games for the La Liga champions this season after an injury-hit season and it appears he may well be on his way out of the Nou Camp as they look to bring in Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt.

While the Gunners certainly do need to strengthen at the back ahead of next season following some issues this campaign, it's fair to say that not everyone wants Umtiti to come in for Koscielny given his recent knee injuries.
