'Worst season ever!' - Some Chelsea fans react amid fresh injury worry ahead of Wolves clash

Chelsea have been given a fresh injury concern after full-back Emerson Palmieri was forced off after just seven minutes of Italy's match with Finland.

The left-back started the European Championships qualifier in Finland, but was substituted after less than ten minutes, with what looked to be a muscle strain.

There is no indication as yet as to the severity of the injury and how long it could keep the defender out for, with Chelsea now sweating on his fitness ahead of the return of Premier League football.

It could be a big blow to Chelsea, with Emerson featuring in every Premier League game so far this season under head coach Frank Lampard, with the Italian international preferred to Marcos Alonso in recent weeks.

But the Spanish full-back could come into contention to feature against Wolves at Molineux next weekend, if Emerson is unavailable through injury.

And some Chelsea fans are not relishing the prospect of being without Emerson, who has become a popular figure in west London after impressing Lampard and the Blues supporters.

Indeed, he has described the past few weeks as the "best spell of his time at Chelsea" .
