'Worst football I've ever seen' - Newcastle fan's passionate talkSPORT rant on Steve Bruce

Newcastle United are currently playing the 'worst football' fans have ever seen and will get relegated unless Steve Bruce is sacked in the next month.

That's the view of passionate Magpies fan Luke, whose resounding criticism of the head coach and players on talkSPORT has gone viral on social media.

Bruce rang the changes for the latest defeat at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night, insisting the "gloves were off" following the dismal defeat at Sheffield United.

There was also a change of system, but once again the visitors were outplayed and two goals from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and a strike from Bukayo Saka eased the Gunners to victory.

It was a display which only increased the pressure on Bruce, who has now been installed by the bookmakers as the favourite to be sacked next in the Premier League.

United supporter Luke insists the squad had "thrown the towel in" due to the 60-year-old's "absolutely clueless" approach to tactics.

The furious fan added the Magpies are doomed to suffer the third relegation of the Mike Ashley era unless the club part ways with Bruce in the next four weeks.

Luke told talkSPORT: "It's absolutely pathetic isn't it? Come on, they've got no idea, the players have thrown the towel in on his tactics, and this is a manager who has been in charge for 18 months and has come out and said he's going to do it his way now?

"What has he been doing for the last 18 months? Has he been listening to the players? He's absolutely clueless. The club is rotten from top to bottom.

"There's people in Newcastle who still think a takeover is going to happen. What Saudi consortium is going to touch a club that's going to get relegated?

"Unless he's sacked, we're going to go down. He has not got a Scooby Doo on how to get out of this mess.

"He has not got a clue. Everybody slated Benitez, the players ran their socks off for Benitez. From day one, they worked for him because in his head, he had a plan.

"This bloke, I've never seen the likes of it, and I'm 30-years-old and I've watched Newcastle for years. It's the worst football I've ever seen.

"I honestly think we'll go down unless something is done in the next three to four weeks. I watch Newcastle every single time I can, and today I forgot the game was on because why the hell do you want to watch that?"
