Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth believes beating Bolton is a 'good scalp' after believing Ian Evatt will get the Whites going this season as the Chairboys took advantage of their FA Cup exertions and injury problems.
Bolton were made to pay for a lack of clinical finishing in Buckinghamshire as Sam Vokes' header proved the difference between the two sides in a 1-0 win though Joel Dixon saved a first half penalty from Anis Meheti.
Wanderers were without several key players including Eoin Doyle, Josh Sheehan, Amadou Bakayoko and Gethin Jones for the encounter, while MJ Williams came off early in the second half with what proved to be a dislocated shoulder.

And having played extra time in midweek during the loss to Stockport County, Ainsworth was well aware his side might be able to take advantage of Bolton after the break.
Though his side had to be brave and were caused problems by Wanderers, Ainsworth felt the likes of Vokes and his goalkeeper David Stockdale came to the fore at Adams Park to help them secure three points.
He told the club website: "Bolton came and we knew they would tire in the second half after what they went through in midweek. They're probably a little bit weaker than they have been, but Ian's a good friend and he'll have them going, so for me this is a good scalp at home.
"There was an overload for Bolton at times. Tactically we see out a lot of stuff and Jason McCarthy did an enormous amount of running to almost cover two players today and then Anthony, Taff and Jordan at the back had to be stretched at a three on three.
"There were some worrying words and there were some worrying looks at times, but I said to them to trust the system, trust what we're trying to do here because if we'd have gone defensive today, we wouldn't have created as much as we did.
"But we created, we scored and we saw the game out really well.
"David Stockdale I thought was outstanding with some of the saves he made. Not major ones, there was one one-on-one first half which yes, he's got to do, but their keeper had one as well.
"But he was assured at the end with coming out and making himself big, his feet were fantastic today and Sam Vokes, when it needed to be put in, it was a fantastic header. Back to his Premier League days, I think with that one."
