This worrying early morning footage shows two young lads going around checking car doors in a north Dublin neighbourhood.
The video was captured by a resident's camera doorbell in the Saint Patrick’s Road/Withworth road area of Drumcondra around 4 am on Thursday morning.
The footage shows a teenage boy cycling around while keeping an eye out.
Another teenager can be seen walking into the frame as he quietly pulls on a car door handle to check if it's unlocked.
Speaking on a local Facebook group, the resident warned: "I thought I’d share this post so everyone can be vigilant with their cars.
"This morning I noticed on my camera doorbell that two lads were going around the St Patrick’s street area looking into cars and checking the doors to see if they’re unlocked.
"Be very careful as they went around both sides of the roads checking all the cars at 4:08 this morning."
