'Worried sick' family launch social media appeal after Glasgow man vanishes during lockdown

A 'worried sick' family have launched a social media appeal after a Glasgow man vanished during the coronavirus lockdown.

Concerns have been raised for Ethan Daly who went missing on Sunday morning, April 19.

Officers from Police Scotland are searching for him as he has not been seen or had contact with anyone since his disappearance.

Nikkitta Anderson posted on Facebook: "Police have been contacted Ethans now down as a missing person, I’ve checked all places he could be with no luck, if anyone hears from him or knows where he may be please get in contact we’re all worried sick.

"If anyone has seen or heard from Ethan could yous please contact either myself or George Daly or one of his family members no one has seen him since Sunday morning or heard from him since yesterday morning."

Since the post was published it has been shared more than 1,500 times.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed the nationwide force have launched a missing person search.

They said: "We have a missing person report under that name and enquiries continue to trace them."
